Songs Of Innocence is just...full of the U2 magic so absent in their last 3 albums, and that's part of the shock. They did it again. Took them longer but did it anyway and, at least for me, it really was worth the wait. I'm truly happy for what the band acomplished here. This thing we all...

Achtung Baby, The Joshua Tree, The Unforgettable Fire...after so many years, at last you have company: Songs Of Innocence. Right now I'm pretty sure that Songs Of Innocence deserves a place in the top 3. Achtung Baby is still number 1 and probably always will be...but I gotta say, for me Songs...

Be it today or a few days/weeks or even months from now, it's the same for me, I'm truly happy the band are going for it one more time. I feel we're soo lucky to be able to witness once more the release of a new album by U2...it won't last forever, nothing does, but right now we have at least 1...

At this point, surely they won't include Ordinary Love and Invisible on the album? Right? Right??? One can only hope... What do you think guys?

Somebody posted in a previous thread the title HOLY HELL...I don't remember who it was, but I really like that title for the new album, I think it fits the "crusade" the band is on...finishing the album, that is.

Ordinary Love really is a grower, this new version was fantastic. I really hope they decide to play it live on the upcoming tour, I think it's a song with sooo much potential for live versions, especially the extended ending they did showed how powerfull this song can be played live.

In my opinion 2 albums in the same year ain't gonna happen. Best case scenario is if they release 1 album, and it fulfills their expectations and is a huge hit, I can see them releasing a second album the year after, while on tour, much as with Zooropa. I believe this is their wish, and want to...
