I am in the innocence group. Trying for Tulsa, but nearly all of the remaining seats (including GA) are still locked for the experience group. Anyone else running into this??

It does indeed sound like a new intro. Very different from "Soon" but perhaps it indicates this leg of the tour is going to go for a heavier, straight-ahead rock attack. Or maybe they were just screwing around...

I get that, for sure. I'm generally cool with the finale but I wasn't knocked out like I was at the end of any of the previous seasons. Those episodes usually answered a question then pulled back a layer that opened up a whole new set of (relevant and intriguing) questions. The grand finale...

Yeah, it's almost like they need to fail (again, relative term) in order to kick themselves in the ass again to climb back on top. The sophomore slump of October led to the brilliant "War"... the expansive but coolly received UF led to TJT... the backlash from R&H gave us AB/Zooropa... Whatever...

I'm with Aygo... If U2 is indeed going to "road test" some songs, why not bust it right out of the gate? If I had to put money on it, I'd say Boots but I really hope that doesn't happen. I'd also rather not see a previous tour opener slide into 360, although it could be cool to see them dip...

The band built UV and the Crazy remix into the technology of the show so well, I cannot imagine those dropping out (and shouldn't, IMO). And I loved TUF but I think it may have run its course. Replacing that one with Bad wouldn't be so... well... bad. Someone earlier mentioned they'd like...

I generally agree with this. The only difference is that NLOTH wasn't packed with hits like AB, which leads me to believe there is a greater chance for new wrinkles this time around, though probably not dramatic changes. Wouldn't shock me if "Breathe" and "Boots" are still the first two songs...

Yeah, I seem to recall Rolling Stone doing an article while they were in the studio making Zooropa... It was the first I had heard of it and I about had the happiest heart attack ever. :heart:

My problem with critics is they rarely put themselves in the shoes of those they criticize. Even on Elevation, I recall the audience spacing out during "Gone" (too bad too because I love that song). By the mid-point of that tour, I think "Staring at the Sun" was the only Pop representative that...

Agreed. Though the various songs have drawn all-over-the-place comparisons, the most frequent I've heard is to AB. If that's true then GYOB probably does serve the same purpose as The Fly. The new single certainly grabs me that way. I can't say GYOB will end up in my Top 10 favorite U2 songs...
