nothing works now...I put in one of my U2 discs and it didn't read that and it always read that so I think you're right.

Sorry for not getting back sooner...I've been stupidly busy. When I put in a disc it makes a noise like it's trying to read it but keeps going in a loop. And now none of my discs work. I think after Christmas I'm going to take it to the local computer guy.

I just bought 3 disk set of LOTR. I can play it in a stand alone dvd player but it won't work on my laptop. Which is very frustrating. I have a Toshiba Notebook and I use Windows Media Player. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I open it and it starts to load and then after a few seconds I get an error message. Then it just stops. The messages were really quick and I'm not sure what they said. I try to open if after a minute or so and it's just a blank screen. It's the first time it's happened to me. I tried...

I agree with all of the above. There must be a "Writing for Dummies" book..I find those are so easy to follow and they explain the why's and how's. I should find one for myself....:hmm: Another suggestion is maybe just read more books. It can really help.

Another thing... that last paragraph was one epic run on sentence..... and I know I'm being picky..I guess it's from being a beta.....

Yes, post more.... I have a couple of suggestions... Spaces are your friend. I have a hard time reading a big paragraph like that. You also don't really have to put who's pov.....we can pretty much figure it out. Other than that, it's really good. Carry on!

Zooropa_fit has a Larry story...I can't for the life of me remember the name of it. Try searching her name..it should pop up.

First of all..welcome! Write it. All you need to do is get the courage to post it..which isn't easy. My suggestion is to get a friend or someone you would trust to beta for you. Beta'ing is just editing. I'd love to know where the term Beta came from. They are also helpful to nag you...
