I understand the commercial logic behind this approach, but it does out fans like us (rather than casual fans) in a difficult position. I have tickets for the first Amsterdam show but not the second, and I've already booked my flights and hotel so I'm somewhat limited in terms of the new brace...

I think the error is assuming that U2.com members are hardcore fans... I imagine some semi-hardcore (!) joined to get tickets and forgot to cancel. Alternatively, maybe people are genuinely voting for their favourite tracks rather than engaging in strategic voting.

First half is okay, but as mentioned, it seems to fall apart half way through. Think the song was written for Bono to sing.

Lyrics sound totally different... can't tell if it is for the better yet. Bono sounds excellent.

I love the Rattle and Hum film, love the live performances... that version of SBS was what got me into the band back in 2000 when I downloaded it from Napster (under the name "sunday bloody sunday - acoustic" Can't stand the album though... think it is the worst of their albums. I'll take...
