I wasn't being sarcastic. I'm surprised that the PM of Canada would look at Bono like a celebrity only, and not realize the work that Bono has been doing. If he is aware, he certainly doesn't sound like it.

I can see this guy has missed the point. He thinks meeting with Bono is "meeting with a celebrity". He seems to be unaware of the issues that Bono would be talking to him about :rolleyes:

A lot of times when people bring good into the world, they are despised for it. Sad, but it's a fact of life. Look at some of the big names in music that hate U2, it's pure jealousy.

That was a wonderful experience for me first thing this morning! I have turned into a youtube fanatic, finding rare videos of other artists I always liked. I so appreciate what you have done, it was incredible.

I first heart U2 with New Year's Day (wish I had seen the video, though, and I certainly was older than 8). I lost my mind when that song came out, but a friend on my job lost his mind worse! I think I sang that song for a whole year.
