Folks, Are we still looking at a 8:45-9.00 PM start time for the band?

Another thing we both noticed was Chris Martin's vocals were not mixed right and the band seemed to overpower him at times. Picked up better as the show went on but that' s how it played out on our stereo system.

Definitely not a snoozefest but my wife is the biggest fan and she felt they dropped the ball on the setlist and so did I. They mixed in too many new songs for a festival and the continuity was missing. U2 definitely blew them away IMHO.

Probably the core setlist from Anaheim II minus a song or 2 due to time constraints with the addition of Glastonbury after WOWY. Hard to fathom them not playing Glastonbury.

I'm hoping they close out the tour with this new setlist; at least play it in East Lansing! Way to shake things up U2.

The band needs to give "Get on your Boots" the boot and kick "Miss Saravejo" to the curb and bring back "ISHFWILF" and "Bad".

Yeah, it's the intimacy of a smaller venue. This is what you get when you go stadium. I think the Vertigo tour will be viewed well in the annals of history. They nailed it wiith that tour. This one is good but doesn't measure up IMHO due to the stadium and setlists.

Crazy Tonight; the way they did it live was pretty darn good IMHO.

You were able to do that because the show has lots of tickets available at all price ranges. Glad to hear Ticketmaster finally accommodated the end user.

Yeah, they should drop MLK and bring back Pride. At least the crowd would be into it.

How many rows back are we talking about here. I've got 4 in back of the stage for E. Lansing for my friends in row 41 just slightly left of center toward Edge's side. How's the view of the video screens and the stage from that height from there? Do you see yourself watching that a lot?

Yeah, and school is out for the summer. NO BEER SALES either. They will draw from Ohio & Pennsylvania and some from Chicago even though Chicago is following week. They should of opted for Comerica Park (43,000 seat venue)

A cab driver told me they charge $3.30 before you even leave the lot. After that it is $2.40 a mile plus $30 an hour for time. So if your stuck in traffic in a cab, your basically screwed.

The Mods should of made a sticky with the necessary information. They dropped the ball IMHO. There was so much bs talk in the threads leading up to the show, you couldn't find anything about it. I rented a car so I was fine but many people got nailed accordingly. My 2 cents.

I warned people about this very thing. I saw it coming and rented a car. Still, it took forever to get out of the parking lot. They didn't seem to have a traffic plan , that's for sure.

I had seats in sec. 125 which was about a 45 degree angle to the stage and the seats were definitely sweet at that location. Like you said, not the same as being down front but nice to see it from a different perspective.

Plenty available? I doubt it after hearing about the Pop Mart fiasco. Even if they had several hundred cabs, they would be snatched up immediately IMO. I thought about it but opted for the rental car. Sitting there waiting hours for a cab ride back to the strip would be a major buzz killer...
