It's hard to explain when I see colors and all you will ever see is various shades of blue.

I think U2 are the early adapters 'minimalism' which I think would be the way to go in this decade, culturally at least.

All That You Can't Leave Behind Appreciation Thread

This album took away my eliteness in musical taste. It's appreciated by the masses hence it's shallow and lacks intellect in terms of music. How could I not say Bonos-worst-lyrics-ever. IMO U2's darkest album ever, it's more misunderstood than POP.

Awesome worth seeing videoclip of Exit

Quite an ordinary interpretation of the song. Nice cinematic value though.

is anyone JUST waiting for the new album?

I don't like analyzing things I LOVE, so I have no expectations except brand new songs without waiting for about a year or so.

U2 need to communicate more with their fans...

Bono's Blog 9/2/06 I met this wonderful, a genius, marvelous, a carpenter like, a delicious umm..y'know those who have a heart big enough to hold the big enough. It was not an act of Karma that I met him, it was a painful experience where I was humiliated listening to him go about his...

Bono in St Tropez - 25.06.06

O Dear, now he can't hide even under blacks. Nothing unusual though, he tends to put on weight in between tour, but I am guessing his back must be terrible these days. Nice pics though, thanks.

What's really interesting is Schumi's fastest lap was .5 faster than any one else. Seems like Ferrari+Bridgestone package is working well, for sake of competition I hope they are not this quick all the time.

How U2 will deal with rock n roll in their late 40s

Options for the future of U2

I don't think any band can sit down and say hey "lets make a masterpiece shall we". It doesnt work like that. An artist should always go for what he is feeling, what he wants to do as a musician, just try be honest with yourself. Then after a few years only time will tell if its a masterpiece...

Hardcore fans who say newer albums suck...

It's not unusual for me to strongly like and dislike same U2 album from time to time, I guess it depends on mood and theme of the time. Each album connects in very unique way, thats the beauty of U2. However I don't know what kind of fan this makes me.

    Cricket : Australia In Bangladesh

Jason Gillespie was the key bowler for Australia during their last series win over Indians at home. He keeps the seam upright and his in cutters are lethal on low-bounce flat decks. His nightwatchman-ship is an asset as well. I think he is a key man for Australia's success in bowling department...

    Cricket : Australia In Bangladesh

Bangladesh has improved a lot over the last 12 months. One more thing, it shows that Dave Whatmore is the best caoch around. It's so easy to get results when you have bunch of talented players, but when you're a relatively new team where everyone is a starter it's an amazing accomplishment. He...

    Cricket : Australia In Bangladesh

I think Australia should test some youngsters. I think Shane Watson should have played this one, he scored an unbeaten double ton in the Pura Cup final, he was doing so well till the point he had that injury in first Test against West Indies. More so Andy Symonds is no way test match material...
