There's probably a 'level' or 'volume' knob on the pedal. That's the pedal output volume. Try turning it down? The trick is to get it the same volume (or a little louder) as when the pedal is disengaged. -Nick

I don't think Edge really uses multiple delays as often as people think. Usually, it's just a dotted eighth note pattern. That being said, I had a POD 2.0 and it could only do one delay. Like you already said, you could of course throw a pedal in. -Nick
