    madonna rebel heart "EP"

Seems fairly strong. Ghostown is great. Its wonderful the word bitch is in two songs. Noticed some reggae influence on of the songs. Guess u2 and madonna have both been listening to the clash. Im glad she released these. Although she only did it because her album leaked.

what the setlist partys would have like if the internet had around in the past.

Just imagine the Beatles in the 60s or David bowie in the 70s if the internet had been around. Lol. And thier was some forum like this having setlist partys. Wow. It would have been 10 times the complaining.

    caligula

Someone recommended this to me. Heard some "things" about this film. Anyone ever see this? I know its gotta be something bad. I have seen strong movies like 1995's KIDS , or no country for old men. How does it compare to those, for example? thanks.

I have considered exploring thier music, and wondered if anyone was a big fan on here. Perhaps some insight to this very complcated and unstable band. I studuied thier history, and well, yea lol. george carlin

I have been listening to his work recently and wondered what some people thought his best work was. I felt while his early 70's work was the most groundbreaking , I always loved his 1992 jamming in ny. I thought it captured the right balance between the old carlin wit and the latter day anger...

    dookie/american idiot=joshua tree/achtung Baby

20 year nostalgia trend , didn't happen this time.

One of the first things i learned about in rock history was the 20 year nostalgia trend that occurred . At least until now it did. The 50's came back in the 70's, 60's in the 80's, 70's in the '90s. I can attest personally to the latter two . I absolutely remember that being the case. When i...

    neil diamond influences on u2?

it may be just a couple examples , but i think the middle part of UC is very neil diamond-like. It could have been lifted from a early 70's diamond record with that melody. (i don't mean its a rip off, i mean it sounds like it). I mean the melody and the structure of the edge solo part. Not the...

class of 1967: sgt peppers vs doors s/t

i think this is a great comparison. two iconic albums . From 1967. And while sgt pepper is gonna win out in the end, its really not as far away in terms on quality. if you look at the classics on the doors album, the trio of "light my fire" "break on through" and "the end" backed up by some...
