I haven't been on here in a year and a half (and not sure the last time I posted). But I still remembered my old username and password. That blue crack must really have been addicting. :hyper:
Right from the get go I had to hold a grudge against Carney. Having to wait up on that road for a long time after getting in while they finished sound checking. Grrrrr
Oh one other thing, I think a highlight of the weekend was not being allowed to see the Kiss cover band because we didn't have gold bracelets. I hate kiss but sort of wanted to go just to see how bad it was.
I was just frustrated because all this was going on in a big crowd of people, but nobody was doing anything. And then on my walk to find security there was another fight breaking out. I was just sort of like "get me out of here right now!". Luckily just after 3:00 a few cops came in. The guy who...
I still need to wash my Moncton clothes!
Also a side note, anybody stay at the Concert Camping find security needed to be more present Saturday night? I had to walk for about 10 minutes from my tent to find security after a guy attacked a girl in the tent next to me. And even after that I had...
We actually have a lot of Bruins and Red Sox fans out here in the Maritimes. Makes sense since Boston is actually closer than Montreal or Toronto geographically. My pastor was there and he is a big Canucks fan, I sort of wanted him to come to where I was and start up some Boston hate just to see...
Looking at your pictures was like playing "Where's Waldo". Somehow a bunch of my family and friends came at different times but we all got in the same area in the pit (basically in front and behind from where you took the pics).
You can see me in this one: All sizes | Untitled | Flickr - Photo...
Both Montreal and Moncton would have been completely whipped out if there were a zombie invasion. I'm thinking Moncton there could have been a greater chance for escape depending on how fast the zombies were and if they were adapted to moving through mud.
I would have preferred Bad as well. But I think at that very moment, Out of Control was perfect.
Would be interesting to know how many shoe/flip flop/sandal/other articles of clothing were sacrificed to the Claw.
He ended up hanging out around my friends. I didn't really talk to him, just took a few pictures of him with friends. One of my female friends in particular got a lot of attention from him. I saw they were tweeting back and forth a little today too. I got a kick out of it all. (So he basically...
Also I got a kick out of all the rumours of special guests who would be playing at the show.
Between texts and friends at the show, while I was on the floor I heard rumours of Bowie, BB King, Springsteen, Eric Clapton, and Neil Young.
Yeah that was where I was!
I put a few pics up on my flickr page too:
Magnetic Hill Music Festival, Moncton, New Brunswick. July 30th 2011 - a set on Flickr
I thought MoS looked particularly awesome with a big sea of people spread across the hill from behind. Looked quite different from just seeing the milky way of lights in a stadium.
Yeah exactly!
This was my 3rd 360 show, first one inside of the circle. Didn't realize that it was so political in there. Just in terms of people with a sense of entitlement and such.
That being said, the group of fans (I'm guessing a bunch of them were from Boston) against the rail right in...
It's too bad no video can really do justice as to how awesome it was having those fighter jets fly over. The excitement from Arcade Fire finishing up was still really high, and then having these super loud jets that made everything shake fly over was awesome. What a great day.
