    U2.com fanclub entrance?

There wasn't a fan club entrance for Seattle. That would have been nice--finally getting real value for my $40 year after year. I wasn't able to wait in line for GA this time around & walked right in at 6pm without a wait (the seated ticket gates were long). Now, it would have been nice if...

Joshua Tree Tour 2017 - Rumors & General Discussion II

I thought Bono's voice sounded very good--especially considering he was singing outside in rather cold air for mid-May (winter and spring have been pretty dismal in the NW this year). There are some higher registers he can't reach anymore so they've definitely accomodated that. I do agree...

    Questions about GA

I went solo in GA to the Seattle show, and was at the rail by the Red Zone entrance. I'm 5'2", and it was a great spot to watch the show as I could see everything. Plus, I was loads closer than my friends in seats (who texted me several times that the band looked like dots from their seats...

Seattle - Limited View Tix for $35 on TM Now

Some limited and obstructed view tix are now on sale for $35-$70 through Tickemaster for Seattle. Guessing this will happen at each venue as they finalize the stage setup. Not the greatest seats I'm sure, but they are available for those with more limited funds.

Seattle GA Tickets Avail Now at TM

Keep checking, and be sure you have it set to lowest price. I was also only looking for 1, and noticed they didn't always come up with 2 or more put in. I'm guessing they are doing in batches today.

Seattle GA Tickets Avail Now at TM

Hi All, Just scored a GA ticket thru TM for Seattle. Don't know why, but a few GA tickets showed up on TM. Not sure if happening for other venues. So darn happy I got one & wanted to share the news! Huzzah!:hyper:

    One GA for Seattle?

Haven't posted for a good long while, but If anyone finds themselves with a spare GA ticket for Seattle, I'd love to join you. I was miserable when I thought I couldn't go to Seattle, but now I can. GA tix are nonexistent on TM resale site & not sure how the ticketless entry would work with...

All (RED) Zone / VIP Tickets Discussion HERE Part III

Got my Seattle email at 2:39pm today! So excited to do Red Zone for the first time--especially since this will be the first time I'm on Edge's side of the floor since I had front row for Pop down in Eugene.:dancing:

Bono undergoes emer. surgery -- tour impact forthcoming!!!

So my husband just mentioned that the retractable roof is so high at Safeco that it might be able to accomodate the claw with the roof completely closed (he's the baseball fan in the family so he's much more informed about that sort of thing than I). Also, with the roof completely...

Bono undergoes emer. surgery -- tour impact forthcoming!!!

Yes, Safeco Field--where the Mariners play--does have a retractable roof. It's also right next door to Qwest Field in downtown Seattle. At the Vancouver show last year, we were in a dome so they couldn't fully extend the claw at all. Here's keeping my fingers and toes crossed for a speedy...

Letterman's audience - filled with paid "fans"?

My husband and I were there on Monday, and we certainly weren't paid. Heck, I would've gladly paid someone to get a ticket to the show if we hadn't gotten the call from the show the week prior. Kudos to my hubby for answering the question correctly as I would have froze up!! :applaud: Also...

    U2 listeners forty and over

I'm 41. I remember that we got cable tv around the time that MTV premiered, and I became a fan of U2 the day I saw the video for "Gloria" (still one of my fave songs of all time). Was lucky enough to see the band live for the first time from the second row at the old Paramount Theater in...

    Portland GA line up

While your new Hilton is certainly swanky, I have a sneaky feeling the boys might be staying at the Benson (if they don't do a runner) since it's the nicest hotel with easy access to the Rose Garden, and Bono stayed there last year for his lecture. :hmm: I'm surprised Vancouver doesn't have...

    Portland GA line up

My husband chuckles each time I check the weather (I figure I've checked several sources at least a dozen times each day since about Wednesday). What's really funny is that the tv stations, weather.com and the national weather service all report different things. We live on the east side, and...

    Portland GA line up

The sustained winds have been so strong here that the arbor in our backyard toppled over last night (it was anchored into the ground). :grumpy: It is dry and sunny, but it certainly feels and sounds as if we're in a wind tunnel. Hopefully the winds will blow the impending sleet/snow far away...

    Portland GA line up

I just spoke with Heather in Guest Services at Rose Garden. While she wasn't sure about everything (she kept putting me on hold and trying to ask people), here's what she shared with me: 1. No wristbands (ugh--it's like 27 degrees with a windchill of 17) 2. "Official" lining up can occur at...

Have there been any ebay horror stories?

I held my breath too when they scanned my Ebay tix at Madison Square Garden, but the tickets scanned just fine and I ended up on the outside rail on Adam's side. Granted I did have hard tix not Ticketfast, but I was still nervous nonetheless. Having spent $225 on the ticket and about the same...

Now that it has been A YEAR, has anyone recieved their U2.Com Keychains....

I got my U2.com keychain in the mail today in a hand addressed envelope! After seeing this thread about a week and a half ago, I decided to try emailing U2.com one more time about the keychain (it had become somewhat of a point of irritation with me that I had paid $40 and had received very...

I have a feeling that Kayne West is going to be booed...

The great thing about U2 is that they expose their fans to a wide range of artists. With such a wide variety of artists influencing U2 over the decades, it makes perfect sense that they would stray outside of a formula to bring musicians they find interesting and inspiring to their audiences...
