Strange, I heard that Raikkonen was talking to Toyota now. Going back to McLaren would be much better for him than racing for Toyota.

More drama, more crap. Piquet jr will never race in Formula 1 again. At least I don't think any of the teams will want to hire him again. And he probably only confessed because he was pissed about getting fired. Briatore is banned for life. I'm not gonna miss him. That guy was a bit of a...

Schumacher's coming back.. A one time thing or for as long as Massa needs to recover? The media is gonna love it. They will be all over this I'm sure. Detailed information on everything he does once he's back in the car and lots of "remember when..." and stuff like that. I wonder how he'll...

But the fuss is over now, right? No more fights about teams staying or leaving Formula 1 and shit like that? And Max finally deciding to leave at the end of his term?

Brawn is still ahead of basically everyone. But still, if Red Bull keeps improving who nows. We know they have a good car now and obviously they're planning to keep improving it. They don't have to do the work that the major teams like Ferrari and McLaren need to do now. At Ferrari and...

So someone here thinks...wait let me check and read again.... Webber can win this year  Vettel and Webber were great this weekend. Red Bull was very dominant in the race. I heard that they don't have the fancy diffuser or the KERS system, which makes their win even more impressive.

^ I really don't get this. Why do they have to create last minute regulation changes like this?

I know the 12-9-7-5-4-3-2-1. system was a much better idea! I couldn't believe the FIA didn't pay any attention to it! Might not be in line with the new aerodynamic rules? Max just needs to bitch about something else now, since his "points system toy" got taken away...

I heard the teams protested against this rule and (at least for this year) the old system will be used. They're(FIA) planning to use the new scoring rules in 2010 but I hope they just don't.

Formula 1, new year, new rules... I can't wait to see how this KERS system works out and I want to know if it's really as dangerous as some stewards claim. They have this fear of being electrocuted if they touch a stranded car... :hmm: I wonder if Honda will be able to survive this year with...

That was an interesting race. Kimi and his useless attempts to overtake and then braking down in the end. Just like his teammate Massa. So many drivers didn't make it to the finishline. I was amazed. I felt bad for Bourdais he could have finished his first Formula 1 race in fourth...

A race at the Nordschleife with modern F1 cars will never happen. Too dangerous and the track is much to long (laptimes of 7/8 minutes ) for a modern race despite the fact that it is a great track. But you can dream about it

This was the only punishment that was acceptable. Punish the team and not the drivers. I'm glad Alonso and Hamilton weren't dragged down with the team. I was expecting something like this to happen: a complete ban for this season and the next would have been too much.
  24. Adam'sbaby

The 2007 FIA Formula 1 World Championship thread

If McLaren is found guilty of spying and punished severely(banned or something) the drivers will be released from their contract. I know this for sure when it comes to Alonso(Fernando would go back to Renault) but I'm not too sure about Hamilton. I would feel sorry for him if this meant that he...
