Damn I am already getting jacked for this and it’s still 10 weeks away. Trying not to burn myself out on listening to U2 live shows between now and then. My first U2 show was 30 Octobers ago. Will be in the red zone, and also will be seeing Postcard From Earth the night before.

If you haven’t read Andy’s statement on his cancer and on the HOF I strongly recommend seeking it out. Cool that they’re going to do some recording with him this year (if they haven’t already)

Agree this is a good album. Their last three albums have yielded two or three tracks worth keeping around, so I was really happy to finally get one that I can play front to back

I’ve thought about this too, trying to evaluate these songs on their own merit independent of the originals. My conclusion is I wouldn’t be a fan of this band if this was the kind of music they put out.
