I really enjoy have they have added another dimension to 'Until End...' by sort of slowing the song down in the middle part. It gives the song better balance before that loud ending.

Yup, in Oslo. Outdoor gigs in Oslo June/July are 'horrible' due to midnight sun. It only gets semi-dark the last 30 minutes of the gig and thats spoils most of the show. As Bono said Zooropa Oslo 93; its just like watching TV on the beach:)

How typical, just found out through the Swedish ticket site, not through u2.com. Nothing there yet about the second show.

Uhh, have you actually been to an outdoor gig around Europe, specially southern Europe? I think you'll find quite a few of people smoke pot and that most people don't care if someone smokes..

I tend to agree with the first poster, it sounds a bit forced and almost Walk On part II. And btw, I do get it, just dont like it as much as the other songs which are great!

Most songs on Pop for me, Im not saying its their best album but most interesting musically for me. Im not really a guitarman but more into bass and drums and I really think Adam/Larry pushed themselves on that album/period. An example of this is 'Im Not Your Baby'....I just love the groove in...

Havn't read through all the posts so sorry if posted, but The Cure release their new album, 4:13 Dream, this fall.

But through it all, they proved they can still play their classic sound (Miracle Drug, Walk On). So, what in your opinion, is their 'classic sound' as you refer to their albums as totally different??

The Cure 'Disintegration' should be way up the list, maybe even number 1....what an extraordinary record. Another topic, anyway, has any band made 4 such great records in a row as The Cure did with A Head On The Door, Kiss Me..., Disintegration and Wish? U2...?
