I have say, with all due respect to Eno, Lanois, and Lillywhite, good riddance to them!! With the exception of 8 out of 11 songs on NLOTH, their production started to sound tired and rote for most of the previous decade. I am still a fan of those three just as long as they remain parted with U2...

Volcano is what Glastonbury wished it was. I'm glad they found a far superior home to that guitar riff. Volcano is one of the first tracks in a long time where I feel U2 sound like an actual band playing together in close proximity.

I really feel that he so rocks on this album to the point that it's as if he is possessed by John Entwistle. Especially on 'Iris' where his sounds the busiest. Although his bass playing owned NLOTH, SOI makes Adam sound AWOL on the former. I swear, in my opinion, all four members are on their A...

Achtung Baby and Pop had 12 tracks and they weren't long enough in my opinion and I wish they would go back to 12 tracks.

I am on the fence about this song. On the one hand I like the Speak And Spell-era Depeche Mode flavor it has to it and the mantra at the end. On the other hand it's a bit too hypersensitive and melodramatic, even for U2 standards.
