So what do you reckon? Day 1 innocence and Day 2 experience? I got day 2 in Glasgow after initially wanting to go for day 1, but hey, I'll take it. I wonder if it is split - will an innocence date be earlier u2 material as well as tracks from songs of innocence album?

Just thought I'd share this documentary: YouTube - Bono's Millions Part 1 - Really well researched and full of interesting nuggets, like seeing Bono's old room, school, properties, car and some nice interview snippets from Paul McGuinness et al.

5 years ago I woudn't have imagined I'd one day create this thread - my initial reaction to How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb was decidedly mixed- some good tunes but just not as refreshing or exciting as ATYCLB. With a lot of time for listening and reflection since, the album has grown on me...

Got the phonecall last night - pretty excited. Getting paid £30 to attend a gig in Belfast. Wonder if it'll be a U2 classics cover band! I've been told to wear jeans, t-shirt, shirt and if possible a waistcoat. I was thinking I could wear my u2.com Go Home T-Shirt to ruin the continuity...

I'd love to spend half an hour with the man showing me how to replicate some of his amazing guitar parts. Not sure how much I'd pay... maybe £100 for an hour? His rates'd no doubt be higher than that though :wink:

I'm just wondering if the cheapest seat tickets are any good (£30ish), where abouts are they in the stadiums generally? Are they less expensive for a reason? I've got 4 croke park tickets in the pre-sale and the general sale is on Friday - I'm considering getting a couple of Glasgow tickets if...

Listening to NLOTH, I get a sense of 'other song' familiarity with some of the songs. E.g. No Line on the Horizon - I hear 'The Fly' in the verse riff. IGCIIDGCT - Ultra violet-esque in the 'baby baby baby baby' bit Hold Me, Thrill me, Kiss Me, Kill Me - mini solo at 3.10...
