Seconded. My sister's apartment was close to MSU and we couldn't park there last year because she wasn't able to get us a visitor parking permit before we arrived (long story). She said they would definitely tow, and there was no special event going on. She suggested we take the bus from the...

Colorado expatriate loves you  Just got a Michigan decal to stick on our car so people don't look at us funny here when it snows. The other sticker is from our Kentucky university and everyone knows Kentuckians can't drive in snow, so they race past us. I'm not from Kentucky, darnit...

 It says about halfway down that page that you have to show your inner circle ticket to park at Ramp 5. Are they talking about Red Zone? Because that is the only way I can think of that you could automatically be in the inner circle, and I'm not even sure about that much.

Went to Wingin' It in Centennial for lunch and they are playing U2 all day because of the concert. Heard the end of Joshua Tree and half of ATYCLB. Best. Lunch. Evar. (until tomorrow)

NOT COOL. I've been waiting in Denver for 2 years and no one gave me a number yet. :shifty:

Take that last "track" off Zooropa. I jumped out of my skin when I first heard that alarm noise. Actually I thought they made a mistake recording my copy when I heard Johnny Cash singing.

It's not Invesco but I like the Red Rocks cam too. Red Rocks Webcam | Live web camera at Red Rocks Amphitheatre - KDVR You can see where they stood! I still get excited every time I see it! :hyper: You can also see people running up and down the steps.

Slight chance of rain in the forecast when I checked this morning. :( I keep checking the webcam for glimpses of the claw. Denver Invesco Field Cam! Can anyone find a better one? Maybe a CDOT cam that shows the area under the ramp?

I'm more worried for my husband. I can hold it for a day if I have to. But he can't, and I don't remember there being any trees near Invesco. Thanks for the reassurance. Already stocked up on snacks & water. I've been on a gluten free diet since last June so I have to bring my own...

So I read through the entire GA thread...again...and I'm still nervous 'cause it's my first U2 show. Does anyone know if there will be port o pottys near the GA line? And where do I find the GA line in the first place?

If you want to see the Rockies, #3 sounds the best. #2 is nice if you want to stay close to Denver. I just heard something on the radio yesterday about Lariat Loop Road being closed for construction but I can't find any more details. Also, when it rains in Denver, it usually only rains for an...

40 takes you to Grand Lake, and if you keep going, to Steamboat which is a ski town. I've only driven to Steamboat in late summer so I'm not sure of road conditions. I do know you're not very likely to see a pika. I haven't taken 14 because it's too far from Denver to do in one day. The road...

 What roads? You can drive to Estes Park from the east and Grand Lake from the west but there's no other road between Estes Park and Grand Lake, north or south. It would take a very, very long time to go around the park and you're better off going back the way you came if Trail Ridge...

Less than 2 weeks 'til my first U2 concert!!! I see some of you have mentioned going to Rocky Mountain National Park while you're here. Just a heads up from a Denverite - call before you go. If you're staying an extra week Trail Ridge Road might be open, but it often doesn't open til...

Just thought of something random, any of you going to Red Rocks, if you want to swing by Dinosaur Ridge it's just one highway exit north. We have a Dinosaur Discovery Day going on tomorrow. Details on the website: Welcome to Dinosaur Ridge I probably won't be there tomorrow but when I...

It's very rare if we get rain before, say, 3pm. Just go in the morning and it shouldn't be too bad. Also, since Red Rocks is right along the front range the rain will likely pass it by. Often the rain evaporates before it hits the ground here. I am planning to drown my sorrows in Guinness...

Bono's Surgery and Tour Impact - Info & Discussion Here - Part 2 [update post #370]

 Paying the fees once was bad enough. And I found ticket buying to be a pretty stressful experience. I don't need that again so soon.

I can confirm this is true. This morning I dreamed I was Bono recovering from back surgery and I woke up with a sore back. It had absolutely nothing to do with me packing up boxes for our move this week.

Anyone else play the band in the morning before work?

Sometimes when I know it's going to be a long day I listen a bit on my juke during my morning break or if I get to work early. Was really into New York, with my head back and eyes closed yesterday morning, until my supervisor tapped me on the knee because she needed to get to the computer I was...

Just purchased 2 for row 15 behind the stage, $30. At $55 there are upper deck seats available to the side of the stage. Couldn't find anything closer/in front of stage in that price range.
