I've never understood the fuss over I Still Haven't Found... Decent, but I have trouble believing that it's one of their biggest hits ever. I must admit though, I'm liking it more since the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

I very much want to be a "C", but I try to spare the people around me (I've got a terrible voice). So, for practicality, I'm a "B". For the most part.

My dad went with me to Popmart (well, actually since I was younger at the time, he chaperoned me). And now my mom's coming with me to Vertigo 2005. She's been asking about this tour for 4 years now.

Just heard the announcement on the radio: local Chicago station ("the Mix") is giving away tickets to the shows starting 5 PM Friday. They play 2 U2 songs in a row, and be the 25th caller when the second starts and you win a pair. So much for being bigger than a ticket giveaway...

I love that movie. Whenever it's on, I have a really hard time not sitting down and watching the rest of it.

Off topic, I like Ours. My friend pokes fun at me at the band names: "You too, ours. What band are you going to like next: Us, We, They?" I don't think Coldplay sounds all that like U2, but they are closer to U2 in terms of their philosophy and approach to music than most other bands I've heard.
