Haha, I'm in the middle of reading the book and I'm facing the same dilemma re: the footnotes. Overall I do enjoy them, but I wish some of them weren't so long. The man can really go off on a tangent!

Lower tier seats are almost as good as GA in an arena. In a stadium, the distance from the stage to the seats is far greater, so the view is not as good in my opinion, even if you're in the first few rows.

I just wanted to point out that the blogger's original quote DID mention Adam, not just Larry.

How many pictures of Bono and Edge hanging out in PRIVATE are actually out there? Most of the pics of them together are at public events and/or U2 functions and they just tend to go to these more often than Adam and Larry, and therefore get photographed more. I doubt that when any of them...

I have to disagree too about Adam and Larry not being close. It's been pretty well documented that after the Zoo TV/Zooropa tour, they spent more than a year together in New York and that Larry was instrumental in helping Adam get his head straight after the Sydney fiasco. They just seem to be...

Both. He's sexy either way. I like that you're able to see how expressive his eyes are when he's not wearing eyeglasses, but I also loved the stylish eyewear he sported during Elevation.

Hard to choose just one. I love JT/RH Adam, Elevation Adam and Pop Adam, in that order. Current look's real good too. Love the gray hair. The only look I didn't care for was the mohawk during the Zoo TV tour. :(

I didn't start paying attention to individual band members until The Joshua Tree came out (I'd been listening to the band since War). I saw the vid for Where the Streets Have No Name and shirtless Adam definitely caught my attention. When I saw Rattle & Hum, it was all over. I was and still...
