    Seattle Setlist Party

Wow great ending with IWF... Maybe they'll pull out some other high energy stuff out for the last song going forward. They have a lot to pick from - Even Better..., God Part II, Walk On, Until the End of the.., etc.

To me it sounds like a bit of a re-hash of Red Hill Mining Town with similar pacing and the little vocal hook in the chorus.

    Vancouver Setlist Party (OPENING NIGHT!)

Would it be crazy to see Bad or All I Want Is You as the closer? I think after Sarajevo they need to hit it out of the park...

Bono and assistant hitchhike along road in West Vancouver, picked up by NHL player

I wonder what they were doing in Horseshoe Bay - there isn't much there except for the ferry terminal to the island.

"This doesn't sound like U2, but I like it!"

    Pop is seriously good shit.

I can't believe its been 10 years since I rushed out and bought POP. Now I feel old.

    The sweetest kitten!

Yup thats got to be Bono. He sure could belt it out around that era.

MERGED->What is wrong with Vertigo 2005?+Bono's singing. hmmm+Bono, your killing me

U2 continues to put on great shows, but I can notice subtle differences in the tours of past. Bono seems to have less energy than he has had in the past. Its not his fault, he's getting older. His voice has declined over the years, but suprisingly it hasn't really changed since Popmart. The...

The bellydancer--I've always wanted to say this

A friend of mine who went to dozens of ZOO TV shows has always said the lady who danced on the first leg (indoor) was a better dancer. I've never seen her in action so I can't compare...

With or Without You Yes or no?

Yes, it hasn't declined as much as Pride or SBS. Most of the song is sung in a lower key so Bono doesn't have as much trouble with it as those others. Not to mention that was the song that pretty much pushed them into super stardom. It is kind of frustrating to hear Bullet EVERY show then no...

    My Friend vs. Fake Tickets

Not Good! He's screwing someone out of getting into the show. If its a GA he might get away with it, but if he's using the same seat #'s he is risking quite a bit. Ticketmaster needs to do a lot more about protecting the actual tickets from fraud. I mean even my Vertigo floor wristband had...

    Bono's voice..

To me his voice took a serious decline between '93 and '97. It doesn't seem to have changed much since then though.

my recent visit to the Joshua Tree

Joshua Tree National Park in the California desert. The tree itself actually fell down a few years ago. It is the crumpled mass on the ground... See here: http://www.joshuatreenationalpark.net/u2tree.htm

Time to Retire Bullet The Blue Sky

Thankfully they have added "Running To Stand Still" again. Those two should always be played together. Having said that, I am a little suprised that they have dropped both WOWY and ISHFWILF but kept Bullet. Those two were insrumental songs in the succes of U2, and although we've heard them a...

Ticketmaster tickets received by e-mail (and printed): Anyone use them? Ellipse scan?

I bought some ticketfast tickets on ebay, no problems. If you do buy them this way I would go with paypal so you have some recourse. I held my breath when they scanned the ticket at the arena, knowing that they can be printed out over and over.

MERGED --> Anyone here go to the 4/29 Vancouver show? + Vancouver GA caution

I'm not Roland, but I'm gonna go with Van 1. Bad, Gloria, and a very meaningful One. Van 2 was very good, but had some awkward moments and Bono didn't appear quite as into it, probably worried about the GA's against the rail. It was pretty flattering when Bono mentioned how they hated to leave...

Sound Quality at Vancouver I & II

Re: Re: Sound Quality at Vancouver I & II Hey come on, she does a rockin' ISHFWILF  I can usually get great tickets and this time friends and family wanted to go. I am not a big fan but she is a pretty good performer. Did I mention the Village People opened? Now there is an impressive...

MERGED --> Anyone here go to the 4/29 Vancouver show? + Vancouver GA caution

I was only a few feet from this incident... I knew Bono wouldn't pull her up to dance because it wasn't the right song for it... BUT he walked away then changed his mind, went back and let security push her up. She wasn't as nuts as it sounds, just a bit aggressive and tried to kiss him. He...

Sound Quality at Vancouver I & II

Caught both Vancouver shows from the floor and while U2's performance was great as usual, I was stunned that the sound quality was so poor. I had read some of the reviews regarding the sound on this tour but I wanted to see for myself, especially since GM Place is considered one of the better...
