August 20 Don valley stadium Sheffield

There is a pub on the road between the arena and the cinema iirc but I've never been in it so I can't say more than that I'm afraid!

Yep, the cinema complex next door has a burger king, and a little further on by the Toys R' Us, etc. is a McDonalds and a Pizza Hut. There are proper restaurants too though if you want real food!

If you can get there early enough, it's closer to 'Valley Centretainment' which is the standard cinema/restaurants/bowling alley complex - I don't drive so I can't say for certain but I think parking may be free there. Hello all, I am thinking of taking the day off work to head down and lurk outside DVS before the show, but it seems like they aren't doing a lot of meet and greets this time? I've tried to meet them several times before but I've never had any luck, got within about 3 feet of Bono but people...

Absolutely hysterically panicking I just came in here to check whether the same wristband system was used as last time for getting into the 'bomb shelter' and now I feel positively ill reading through this thread. I booked 4 presale tickets to go to Dublin next Saturday. I'm American but I...

Heh incredibly similar actually! I came over in 1999 to St. Andrews to do an MA in History of Art, but I met my husband and kept going down to Bristol to see him, got burned out, wasn't supported with my dissertation and got a P.G. Dip. as well. I then got married in 2001 so I'm here for good...

    Croke Park 26th June!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As No. 3.5 said, I was just planning on trying because it's "the U2 hotel" (not to mention a very nice one, by the sounds of it), not because I thought they'd be there. I would think they'd go home afterwards, wouldn't they? And I certainly have no intention of "sneaking round" their houses...

Do you think they'll play Ohio or Indiana?

I didn't! I voted for Walter F. Brown of the Socialist Party. :P Might try to go back and see my family when they play Cleveland...we'll see...
