I forgot to mention before that when we were all piled in by the gate, and they started taping off sections to let in, we were discussing the mess w/ one of the security guards (the "uniformed" ones, not the yellow event staff kids). He said they "expected everyone to be honest." THAT is their...
My friend and I hit the bathrooms around 4pm, too. Here we were, waiting in that LONG line but enjoying the soundcheck immensely, when our other friends in line (we were around 1400) called and told us what had happened. We ran back and found the mass of people near the gate, but couldn't find...
We played this at our wedding reception way back in 91. "Take my hand, you know I'll be there if you can I'll cross the sky for your love...give you what I hold dear."
So perfect.... We also played U2's cover of Unchained Melody.
Oh girls...I almost never reply/post, but this is a great thread! I'm just 41, and although I'm sure you've all seen this one...it gets me EVERY time!!!! No hot flashes, yet, but I can feel myself start to sweat with this one! hahaha!
Within ONE minute, I got 2 GA's for LA 11/2, so did my friend, and another friend got 2 GA's for each LA night, using both of her pairs. Saving my 2nd pair for Salt Lake.... YAY!
Thanks, Larry!!!!
My friend and I are taking our kids (both 9) to OPENING NIGHT! We have seats, though...would be too worried about GA (and listening to them whine while waiting ALL day!) They are excited...wondering if they realize how lucky they really are!!!!
I have a Nokia and I downloaded a few off of Cingular thru my phone. They're $1.99. Had Streets, but now have Unforgettable Fire, if you can believe it! It's supposed to be polyphonic, but doesn't sound too great. There are a bunch, though.
My neighbor, who was one click away from confirming her purchase for Anaheim in the presale, just got a call from TM this am (Monday), and got 2 GA tix to Staples!!! I didn't get an email, but I never got that far in the process because I kept getting "internal error." I emailed TM last night...
My neighbor and I actually went to the Pond this morning, and the first thing I saw were SCORES of people who did not look like your typical fan. Scalpers were EVERYWHERE! It was disgusting! They are low-life scavengers. When they pulled the random wristband number, I was 28th in line...
Got 4 tix for opening nite, but they're Terrace 17b, not that great, but at least we'll be there (I'm taking my 9 year old son...he's really excited...this will be his first one). Got these over the phone. My neighbor got tix for the 2nd night section L15 row 5...a bit better.
Saw nothing of...
Well put!! This is the same scenario for every fan I've spoken to...at least on the west coast. I hope Principal Managment, etc. actually does something with this information!
