North American 3rd Leg, Fall 2005

I'm not holding my breath, gunslinger. I'm waiting for the 3rd leg, but I'm sure the tix will go fast. Real fast.

What the hell is so wrong with Pop?

Intro to Numb from the ZooTV tour: "...you can't sell the same thing to the same old crowd forever..." PoP is pretty low on my list of favorites, but I recognize it for what it is. It certainly has more energy than either of the last two records released. Miami: one of the best tracks on the...

Long time fan with young friends...

I'm a 32-year old sophomore. I've loved these guys for a LOOOOOOOOONG time. I've recently re-entered the academic world. How do I show the kids these days that U2 are still relevant? HTDAAB goes a long way to help...

    Song and year

I'm surprised no one else has mentioned Electric Co. Round about '84 or so that I was introduced, but that was the track that did it for me. And it still does--- I'll stop whatever I'm doing if I hear that song! Where are the Clowns? There're- already- here...(Krusty the Clown and Sideshow Mel)

(11-04-2004) Aural Intercourse: U2: All that you can't avoid - Las Vegas Mercury*

The R.E.M. album may be considered a commercial flop, but it is a great artistic success in my book. They really got back to what they do best.

    (09-03-2004) Exclusive: First-Hand Report on 'Rippin'' U2 Song -- Interference.com*

Re: Re: (09-03-2004) Exclusive: First-Hand Report on 'Rippin'' U2 Song -- Interference.com* Steve knows U2. Of any period. In fact, he knows more about 80's "new wave" and early 90's alternative music than anybody else that I've ever heard. Plus he's the only reason I ever listen to the radio...

Would you listen to a full album leak?

Would I? Yerbugger I would! One of the cooler experiences for me with ATYCLB was downloading the entire album a week before it was released and then finding out that the "Walk On" mp3 I had was actually somethinng from Salome that I hadn't heard.

(05-07-2004) Paul McGuinness: Album in November, Tour in March - Interference.com*

Oy, I hate to be the one... If the tour starts in March and if the tour starts in Miami, you're probably screwed. On the other hand, it means that I'd see them early in the tour again here in Atlanta. I'd just as soon see them in the middle to end of the tour... the shows just seem to get...

(02-04-2004) Bono Puts Janet?s Boob behind Him... - ShowBiz Ireland *

And I blame the U.N. for sitting on their collective asses for twelve years while Saddam Hussein broke every single one of the resolutions the international community imposed after the Gulf War in 1991. G.W.'s reasons for going to war were absolute bullshit. But the U.N. had the responsibility...

(02-04-2004) Bono Puts Janet?s Boob behind Him... - ShowBiz Ireland *

This is f'kin brilliant. You know, I could care less about Janet Jackson's tit. And my thoughts on the NFL choosing someone other than Bono? Couldn't care less. Few things interest me less than professional American football. And yes, I am an American male between the ages of 18 and 35. My...
