:yes: This is the lyric I instantly thought of when I saw this thread title. "When Love Comes To Town" is one of my top 10 U2 songs ever! I'm just re-reading the lyrics now - brilliant song!

It's great. At the moment i don't think it's as good as the last album, but I reckon it will definitely grow on me, so I may change my mind. Tracks 1, 2, 4 and 8 are my favourites, but that's probably because I've heard them before so they've already had chance to grow on me. :heart: sigur Ros...

No idea :shrug: I doubt anyone here would know unless they were from Iceland. It's not exactly a widely spoken language. Do we have any icelandic interferencers? :confused: I do know it's the lyrics to "svefn-g-englar" by Sigur Ros. svefn-g-englar means sleepwalkers but that's all I know...

I saw the program on BBC2 last night, and it really struck me how much we take for granted about sight. When this guy got his sight back he had to learn things like the fact that things far away appear smaller than they really are, and that when you put one object in front of another it obscures...

I know what you mean. Very annoying! What's the point in cutting half of it out? I had to sit through half a show of crappy pop music for that :yuck: and they didn't even show the whole thing :rolleyes:

I just read in the newspaper that U2 are going to be on "Top of the Pops" tonight, 7:30 on BBC1. I don't know if it will be the video or an actual performance, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the latter :yes:

Same here - it's sooooo annoying. Half the time they're too tight at the front but have a huge gap at the back. I have these lovely cord trousers that fit me perfectly though. When I got them I had to rush back and buy pairs in the other three colours as well because they were the first...
