    Describe your religiousness

I presume when people say they believe in a God, they are talking about an omniscient, omnipotent, creator of the Universe. In this sense, I don't believe in a God because I don't think there is a creator or a universal consciousness looking after mankind or all of life for that matter. I do...

The most innovative band of the 90's

Angel, I fail to see from your post how SP would be the most "innovative" band of the 90s. Your list of albums just show they have been one of the more prolific bands of the 90s, but this had nothing to do with being innovative. I've only heard Siamese Dream and a couple songs from some of the...

Godspeed YOU!!!!!! black emperor side projects

The Silver Mt. Zion is the other big Godspeed side project. I've listened to their album, Born into Trouble as the Sparks Fly Upwards, a few times as background music. It's not nearly as intense as your typical Godspeed album, but it's still very beautiful music. The Silver Mt. Zion use more...

boards of canada, future sound of london and the vanilla sky soundtrack

I haven't given Geogaddi a proper listen yet, but Music has the Right to Children is a pretty good chill IDM album. I prefer Autechre to BOC because they're a lot more in your face and intense. I'd give "Tri Repetae++" a listen, I think it's Autechre's most accessible and complete album. Some of...

The Most Beautiful Song You've Ever Heard?

It would have to be a song by My Bloody Valentine, either To Here Knows When or Blown a Wish.

What program do you use to download?

Audiogalaxy was the best music stealing program I ever came across, too bad they got screwed. Unlike Napster, AG actually tried to promote lesser known artists, but it didn't matter in the end. I mostly use Soulseek for d/ling music; check it out at www.slsk.org.

    Live Shows

U2SavestheWorld and She Is Raging were you familiar with Modest Mouse before the show? What specifically was so crappy about them? I absolutely love their last couple albums The Moon & Antarctica and Lonesome Crowded West. This was one band I was really hoping to see some time in the future...
