    Have you ever changed around certain lyrics while singing along to U2 songs?

    LOL...I love this thread! I always add in the extra "midnights" in Lemon like in Zoo TV whenever I listen to the album version.

    adam clayton

    I can't believe no one's mentioned this- Boomerang has by far the best bassline in my opinion! Try playing it at high volume with the base cranked up all the way.

    Adam singing? (live performance of Fire)

    Anyone else on here have the CD "U2: The complete tour rarities 1980-1993"? The CD includes a live performance of "Fire" from 11/14/81 at the Paradise theater in Boston where I could swear Adam, and not Edge, is singing the backing vocals "Falling, Falling.." The voice is deep and off key. Thing...

    Top 3 U2 songs that would have been huge hits had they been released

    1. Pete The Chop- Very direct, driving, passionate sound. catchy tempo. 2. Boomerang- Ever listen to this with base cranked up all the way? No doubt, my favorate baseline of ANY u2 song! 3. Three Sunrises- has a catchy "tropical island" sound to it

    Songs to be added/dropped to setlist for next tour

    Hey all- here's my two cents on this... Drop: 1. WOWY- too "tired" sounding, ever since '97 it's sounded as if they've only played it since it was expected of them- whatever happened to the extened Edge solo from the JT tour? 2. Pride- same reasons as above- needs to go unless they could do...

    ATYCLB = over-rated

    I somewhat agree with the original post. I like the album, just as I like or love almost everything U2 does, but I don't think it was quite the masterpiece it was made out to be. A little to "squeeky clean", as mentioned. The more raw live versions are better IMO- Especially "New York". This...

    My reasons for ?liberal? over ?conservative? Christianity

    I?m new posting here but feel I have to add to this much debated topic here on FYM. Many conservative Christians I know simply can?t understand where I?m coming from in my ?liberal? views as a Christian. I frequently get: ?How could you believe just some of the bible not all of it??, ?How do you...

    The Ant And The Grasshopper

    In my opinion, this story shows the whole problem with the republican view. It's oversimplifying the problem of wealth disparity by assuming the ?have nots? are lazy bums and those who are wealthy earned every penny of it. I?ll concede this may be true in some cases, but contrary to what many...

    Hey!!

    Hey fellow U2 fans! I'm sorta new here, sorta not. Truth is, I've been lurking for quite some time but this is my first post! Anyway, I'm a 23 year old recent college grad from Eastern MA (USA) with a degree in meteorology. I've been a huge U2 fan since I was 14. I, of course, have all...
