After seeing Argentina and Sao Paulo, I want MILAN instead...

Hahaha, but I was in Italy some years ago and I must say Milan people are not italian people, the whole city is a boring fashion catwalk. Seriously, many (almost all) of the U2 songs are made for chanting crowds and if the "english" or the "tunning" of it are not ok, well, you should listen the...

    Time For Vertigo Stats!

well, why somebody buys a live dvd concert? Because it was performed in my own country? not likely. Because the location is exotic and weird? Maybe. If the concert was on Ireland, well that's something, it has some extra value. Or maybe if it was on Brazil, which is a new and strange crowd and...

    U2 Vertigo Tour - Postponed (General Discussion/Info)

I apologize to you and to whoever could be affected. I couldn't control myself. However, she was right clear she doesn't care about the personal life of the members of the band and she was worried about her trip to Australia. That should be enough to ask yourself what kind of person do you...

    U2 Vertigo Tour - Postponed (General Discussion/Info)

Wow, what a cold hearted bastard... Well, if you noted that, this thread is called "U2 Vertigo Tour - Postponed (General Discussion/Info)" and here is supposed to be the general info about the reasons of the tour cancelling, in this case, apparently, the illnes of Edge's daughter. If you are...

    U2 Santiago 2006 DVD

I totally agree with you two, of course the online petition is not enough to get it done; that is the first step in a number of actions that the local fan clubs are planning to do, and it is the step in which you can join us. The petition has a field of ID number and at least for Chile that's...

    U2 Santiago 2006 DVD

I'm amazed listening all of you. What you basically are saying is: "because we all had a great concert so Santiago's concert should not be on dvd". And you have not even watched it. And you call yourselves fans. You should be thankfulled for the chance of getting an extra U2 concert dvd, and...

OK can someone PLEASE clear something up for me?

ok, I'm neither an expert but I'll try. There are the official concerts dvd's released by the group (That's Chicago, probably Milan Vertigo ones and Mexico 1998 PopMart as examples). Some of the concerts are broadcasted by local television channels, with their own cameras and equipment, these...

    U2 Santiago 2006 DVD

I've never said I was... The only important thing here is to discuss if Argentina is "technically" and from an objective point of view the best concert for a U2 Vertigo DVD, and I still think it is not... cariños y besos boring guys.

    U2 Santiago 2006 DVD

Everybody relax, take a pill or something... I admit that Ponkine's way of expressing is resentful, but I also think she has a point (assuming that she is a 'she'). None of you could see the chilean concert, because chilean television couldn't afford the cost of broadcasting (and believe me, it...

    U2 Santiago 2006 DVD

First of all, it is almost impossible to have a "bad" U2 concert. To all of us in this forum such event is no less than a lifetime experience (specially for us in South America, who have them every 8 years or more). However a word can be said about organization. I've never saw a worst...

    U2 3d!!!!!

I must say that the Santiago concert was, by far, much better than both Buenos Aires nights (I didn't see the brazilian ones) ... It's a pitty that the producers (argentineans) didn't thought it well from the begining and saw Chile like a minor step.
