i've said in another post that i was happy with the set list from manchester. i can understand people not wanting to hear the old classics too much as they're on the radio etc, but personally i like the old classics because they sound great live are more exciting - i had shivers when the bass...

yeah i was thinkin rattle and hum-esque last night. edge's guitar tone was a little off for the song but it worked. i'm glad this was played as it probably is my fave song, was a far better performance than on the elevation tour.

certainly did have a great time. i used the word brilliant because i was expectin it to be a lot duller (after readin the previous set lists on here) but we were pleasantly surprised. remembered readin someone thought that the streets have no name had lost it's energy so i didn't go expecting...

the set list last night was brilliant i though. think i can see why they play vertigo twice now - it's gotta be the opening song (because it's called the vertigo tour :D ) but the 2nd performance was a whole lot better, crowd and band a lot more up for it. nice to see the crowd pleasers coming...

i haven't read all of the replies but the first set list is a little dissapointin to be honest - good songs but not good LIVE songs. personally i'm hopin they'll play more of their bigger hits e.g. hold me thrill me, one, with or without you, pride etc than songs like runnin to stand still...
