Looking at the popularity of U2 during their JT era & the fanatical way so many folks STILL post photos of U2 from that era, it seems that most U2 fans appreciated the way Cashman dressed them! Look at the clothes you wore in your 20's when you're in your 50's and see if you don't cringe a bit...

Taymor is certainly NOT a "screw off" - she is a very intelligent, capable & independent woman - not unlike the one that Bono married. It appears that the B-man may have underestimated the tenacity of this woman which is a BIG mistake. Not everybody worships at the altar of Bono. :laugh:

To respond to the several questions about Edge's role in these meetings, if one reads this article completely they'll see that Taymor is stating that Edge WAS at these meetings & that he was left to absorb most of the responsibility of the revisions that U2 made to STOTD because of Bono's...

You are correct, feedthetree - EDUN has never accepted the brilliance of getting out of the skinny model clothes & making affordable fashions for the average woman. If you're trying to reach the public and change their minds about fair trade with Africa, it makes sense to take your fashion line...
