Thanks for all the great info; I had 'Lady with the Spinning Head' on last night actually, I have the BSides disc of the 'Achtung Baby' uber deluxe, and mighty fine it is too! A query though on it, the songwriting credits, besides 'Paint it Black', 'Fortunate Son' and 'Satellite of Love'...
I'm only beginning to discover B-Side U2; B-Sides are or can be amazing; almost an alternate recording history of a favourite band. And more often than not, it's mostly the fans that hear these, an extra layer the fans can enjoy - released on singles, but obscure in a way as casuals don't seek...

'Song for Someone' is one of my favourites from the album, I just think it's a gorgeous song; wonderful melody, nice lyrics, very well sung by Bono.
The version on 'Graham Norton Show' was terrific; that was the moment it became one of my favourite tracks from SOI.

Agreed with previous poster, quite an average album. On the Oasis forum it's getting 9 and 10/10 reviews, some calling it "flawless" - it says a lot about the state of music these days if Noel Gallagher's new album is being called flawless. I think the hype or release perhaps is the main reason...

Six months after release and I think the album is holding up extremely well; as a lapsed fan of the '2 for many years, I am proud of the hometown boys that they created an album that's their best, arguably, since the mid 90s 'Zooropa'/'Passengers' era.

I re-listened to the album this weekend along with that of another veteran band and their new album, Manic Street Preachers 'Futurology' (which is absolutely fantastic I think, as is it's sister album, 2013's 'Rewind the Film')
