I must say AT LAST!!. At last I can hear the old U2 in it, at last I can hear the old Adam Clayton, at last the edge "disappears" to let the songs breathe, at last they forget about corny ballads and make slow/medium tempos with guts,... For me, the flaws are a bit of over-production, to many...

My guess: SOI is free in Itunes for some days. In a month (october 13th?) they release SOE, at some nice price. Then, as christmas comes closer (November?), they release a boxed set with both cds, an extra cd with noises from U2 HQ's men´s room, some dvd full of white noise and a few old U2...

I've seen the preview of som songs in musicroom, and some are not that accurate (e.g., one). Are you sure that on the intro of electric co. he `plays all the notes, doesn't leave part to a delay?

I must say that, in my opinion, bullet and streets have won, but the fly and desire have lost. The fly on the boston dvd is too much like any other song, like lady with the spinning head. Glad they went back to "something like the original feeling" on this tour. On desire, they went too country...
