    GA tickets are worth gold... you should be able to trade for better seats. My advice would be to keep the GA's and dig your way to the front!

    Good: Bono's voice was on more than ever! Bringing back some oldies (40, an cat dubh, elec co), cool lighting for the indoor shows. :drool: Bad: Too many "greatest hits" in the sets, sometimes tired performance :mad:

    I picked up a copy on Friday... it was on a local newstand. The info is good, but the story was written like a rolling stone\spin\q interview... not too much guitar\amp\effects in the interview. The tabs are vertigo and pride. The CD gives you a look at his rig and guitars... again nothing new...

    Actually U2 are playing 7 shows in NYC this fall 5 in Oct and 2 in Nov. It shouldn't be too hard to find 2 tickets for MSG. I would agree that U2 played better shows in NJ and Boston this May. I saw them play NJ #1, NJ #2, MSG, and Boston #3... I would rank them like this: 1. NJ #2 (best...

    Mofo screaming noise?

    I believe Edge calls this his "747 sound" made by using the Korg SDD-3000 delay, a fuzz face, and the whammy pedal. The key is to crank up the volume on your amp, this will add tons of sustain to the point of feedback.

    Yea, U2 is not going to do 3 legs in the US before going to south america and asia pac again... Not sure about playing an outdoor concert in Dec too.
