I was thinking of compiling a mix of songs that I like because of how they were produced, rather than just the songwriting. The song that made me think of doing this was Wilco-"I Am Trying to Break Your Heart". If you're familiar with the song you know exactly what I mean. The studio production...
This may be commonly known, so hopefully someone will know. Has U2 ever been in to drugs? I assume they don't use them now, maybe I'm just being naive, but have they spoken about them in interviews?
BD vs Vertigo - BD
Stuck vs MD - Stuck...I feel like the only person who likes Stuck and dislikes MD
Elevation vs Sometimes - Elevation by far IMO
Walk On vs LAPOE - LAPOE...I was really excited to hear them try a new sound like this song.
Kite vs COBL - no contest IMO, COBL. It's my favorite...
SYCMIOYO - I feel it's like the king with no clothes. Everyone's percieving it as this great, powerful piece of music, but musically and lyrically it just seems very average, IMO. I understand the meaning to the song and everything and how heartfelt it is. It is a pretty song, I just don't think...
I've wondered the same thing about this board, and I really thought that I was the ONLY one who likes the song...I just didn't have the balls to start a thread on it because some are very passionate about hating this song.
After hearing Flower Child on iTunes, a lot Wild Honey haters said it...
Agreed! I understand why they're not available individually (because they're trying to get the full $150 out of us) but had we been able to download the rare/unreleased individually there's a lot of people on this board alone that would have shelled out at least 15 bucks each already. Thanks...
If possible, could someone send:
Flower Child
Native Son
SYCMIOYO (alternate version)
...to me? I'll buy when they're available individually . Thanks!

My mom surprised me with the Collectors today. Everything about it is great and really cool, but there's no actual "home" for the cd. It just kind of sits on top of the packaging in an indentation. What's the packaging like on the deluxe?
