Official confirmation just in on U2.com: "Definitive ‘Best Of’ On The Way Sixteen of U2’s best known songs and two new tracks are on a single ‘Best of” CD released next month. No word on a title for the album yet nor what the track-listing is but the release date is set for November 20th...

According to a bookshop blurb I've seen: "This limited, numbered edition of 5,000-10,000 worldwide is exquisitely bound and boxed with an exclusive facsimile of U2's first ever gig poster (outside Dublin), printed to the original size. This is a true collector edition for all true fans of the band."

The Big Life wesite where Jacknife Lee's involvement was first mentioned have now removed the reference to him recording with U2 in September. Go figure.
