Mercy should be an album classic - never released as a single. Rather like Bad it should be there to boost an album as a whole rather than trying to be a superb single track. There is some weight behind using it as a B-side - as another member put it earlier in the thread there is nothing worse...

Mercy - it has the potential to be a classic - some great lyrics and a real sense of hurt passion in some of Bono's singing. Edge is on fire with some of his guitar! A bit of attention to the structure and this WILL be brilliant! "It's no secret that ambition bites the nails of success!"
