Hi all,
I'm seeing U2 in the London 02 arena on Sunday. Do we have any idea what the start time will be? The ticket says 6pm, but I don't want to turn up 3 hours early. On the other hand London transport doesn't go too late on a Sunday (midnight or so) and the venue is quite far East.
Any ideas?
The article implies that there were 24,958 returns this Christmas but that can't be right. I haven't even heard of the site and that's a huge number. Perhaps the Joshua Tree is their most returned album ever, not just this December.
In a way it isn't that much of an insult - lots of returns...
U2's The Joshua Tree tops unwanted music list this Christmas | Mail Online
I know the Daily Mail isn't the most reliable source, but what do you make of this? Think the site they got the stats from has a good price for the CD. Or were shops discounting the CD, making it a popular gift?

BBC News - U2's Bono criticised for endorsing Shoot the Boer song
This was on the front page of the international version of the BBC News website. I suspect it was just ignorance on Bono's part, but it's a shame he has given people reason to doubt his judgement, as that might lead them to...
My goodness. Tickets seemed to go on sale 8.59 and sell out 9.02 on Livenation and Ticketmaster (same pool of tickets I suppose). Incredible! I got 2 but tried to buy 2 more for my brother as his computer stalled.

McGuinness speaks out. Slightly disappointed at the BBC's reporting of this - U2's name is being lent to statements that have nothing to do with U2.
Also, I think it would be very harsh to penalise ISPs for what their users do.
