I wouldn't underestimate him. Just because you haven't heard of him doesn't mean nobody else had. He's reasonably popular and probably more relevant to the under 30 general mainstream than U2. I personally know several people who hate country music because they think it's all Toby Keith crap...

And yet for the week after, Pink's new album sold 400,000 copies. That's more than the rest of the Top 15 combined, which includes new releases by the likes of Beck, St. Vincent, Robert Plant, Gucci Mane, and Wu Tang Clan.

No I just think that the U2 v. Kygo single itself hasn't been the breakout hit they wanted (or at least as of yet, anyway). Even when paired on an EP with songs by big names like Selena Gomez and Ellie Goulding, the EP itself did surprisingly low digital sales.

Is the Kygo version essentially DOA? I only ask that because Kygo's latest EP sold a mere 37 copies in the US upon release last week.

So Kygo's new EP sold 37 copies in it's first week in the US... I know sales aren't everything, but yeesh. I feel like the Kygo vs. U2 pairing has really not amounted to what the band had hoped.
