U2 caught my interest when Achtung Baby was released, I heard their music when I was in France. I think they were touring in France at that time because they were played constantly on the radio. I fell in love with Bono's voice before I had seen the man himself, I wasn't disappointed when I got to see him as The Fly. I like that the band is easily recognizable both visually and by their sound.
I used to ignore Bono's activism when I was in my teens, sometimes even had a laugh at the man. In a way I guess I have to thank all those who hate on him that I finally felt interested in what he's doing. I wanted to understand why he's constantly ridiculed and criticized. The more I read the more I see him as sincerely devoted to his causes. Reading about the Edun brand gave me some insight into how difficult it can be to succeed with projects like this.

- I've been to the PopMart show in Valle Hovin, Oslo. U2 got stuck inside the disco-ball lemon. Lot's of people dressed up as The Fly were in the city the day of the concert.
