i was not disappointed with the show at all. i got to see "all i want" performed live for the first time (out of 9 shows between popmart and this) and "angel of harlem"...two of my favorites. sure, "bad" would have been great as would "yahweh" and so would acrobat, please, and love is...
aren't they playing there for three nights, though? there's time to play all the songs.
but a word to the wise for the band: you've only got one night in honolulu. we wanna hear love and peace or else!
its so funny...i remember "way back" when the tour opened on the 28th of march (or 29th)...i was here watching the setlist roll in. the hype had only just begun. i held GA tickets to four shows at the time and would eventually get GA for two more, including the final night of the tour in...
just came back from tonight's show...anybody need tickets for a philly show or a september chicago show? after this show, there's just no need to see them again on this tour!
those who missed this, missed out! :| pray for this setlist in your town!!!!
God was in the house, tonight -...
i'm all for a big spectacle of a show! popmart was my favorite u2 show in part, of course, due to the phenomenal "show". elevation was fantastic and i've no complaints whatsoever but popmart always sticks in my head as the quintessential u2 tour.
Any Chicago Fans Waiting At United Center For Tix?
is anyone going to the venue to buy tickets personally? i don't want to screw around with ticketmaster on saturday morning so i'm seriously considering going the "old school" route for these tickets. is that a crazy idea?
waiting in line, overnight, with a bunch of friends was a party! we would bring our radio and all of that artist's/band's cds. up all night in the cold or heat, taking one eyed naps on the hard concrete...lawn chairs, sleeping bags and blankets. that was way more fun than worrying about...
i like "the atomic tour" but it seems to predictable. i also like "the fear and faith tour" and i think that is far less predictable and much more fitting for the subject matter of the new cd. i really think it will be something unrelated to any phrases on the cd, though, like the zoo tv tour.
