I have HD size envy. But I did get a 2TB external drive for Christmas. The bummer is that it was not Time Machine compatible, but whatever.

Yay you came back! :D See? I told you you had clammoring fans. :D

Hee. This is so totally unexpected. :reject: Been a long, long time. And I have to thank you Comet for bringing this to my attention. *kiss*. I've been lurking over on fanfic. geez, was it really that long ago that I wrote Diary of the Downcast, or The Diaries as it's better known? shite....where did the time go.

OK, leaving now. Don't want to bore anyone who's joined since I was here and who doesn't know what the feck I'm talking about. *runs away*.

Oh and I have to say hello to MsP...Hello there honey. I do so hope you're fine right now. And your sister. And GG, hi. Been following you on facebook. I hope everything is going well. Same fucking weasel just felt compelled to leave 8 small turds at the front door of my works office today?

As if sealions don't stink enough.

I don't like wet dog smell either  but my cat can stink up the house pretty bad as well. At least dogs do their business outside!

Yes. I would not be able to handle the kitty litter in my current condition. So dogs are better. And my female has started guarding me. I think she senses I'm pregnant. She did with my daughter.

How are you feeling these days, GR? Better I hope! Man I couldn't wait to get out of the nauseous months.

Dell Inspiron. It has a 6 gig memory, and 640 GIG HARDDRIVE. :combust:

Biggest harddrive I've ever had for a laptop.

Niiiiiice. Not bad at all! It's great when you can find a computer that gives you enough space for things.

Hi, YDW  ! Good to see you popping in. You could never bore people here, don't be a stranger :).

Also, echoing the :cute: and "Awwwwww"-ing over the picture of that little weasel. What a cutie.

I feel a little better. Some days, I almost feel normal. Then I eat and am reminded that there is an alien in my body. I can feel it move, so there is that, you are never really alone realization. In about 2 and a half weeks, we find out gender. I swear this sucker is a boy.

Yeah, I can't even properly imagine how weird that whole experience would be. I just figure it'd be fascinating and scary all at the same time. Glad to hear things are going well so far, though. And woo, getting close to finding out the gender-be neat if you guessed right :D. Are pregnant women generally pretty accurate about that sort of prediction?

My mom told me that the doctors predicted both my sister and I would be boys :p. Interestingly, I would've been named Adam had I been a boy.

I would have been John. I figure that I feel so different with this one (and my hairdresser said my hair felt different) that it was a boy.

Feeling a baby is like having one of Gg's fish swimming in your belly. :D

I thought I was having a boy, but in retrospect, I think that was just because I thought the dad (my ex) would prefer a boy....I didn't really care. I'm VERY happy now things turned out the other way. There's a bond between mothers and daughters that I'm sure you're all aware of that I can't even describe. I think for us, because it's been just the two of us for so long, it's even more pronounced.

Grace, glad to hear things are going well for you and the little one. :)

Oh, absolutely. There's some stuff I did inherit from my dad and certainly we had a good relationship and all that, but it's obvious to anyone who sees me with my mom that I take after her and relate to her in so many ways. Hell, the first thing practically everyone we meet says when they see us together is, "You look JUST like your mother!" One of my co-workers said she actually did a double take once when she saw us walking through the mall together one day. And it hasn't been nearly as long a time like it has with you two, but it's been my mom and I for the last few years as well (she's got my sister, too, but my sister doesn't live with us), so yeah, the similiarities and connections definitely get more noticeable.

:giggle:

That reasoning makes sense, as does yours, VP. I was just curious about the prediction thing because of the strong connection mothers have with their children from the time they're in the womb, and that whole "woman's instinct"/"motherly sense"/whatever stuff that you hear so much about (and which I firmly believe exists in some form or another).

Yeah, I'm not sure that I can say I had any strong feelings one way or the other, except for what I already mentioned. I'm not even sure that the divorce changed things, we may have been this close, regardless. I remember once in the early days being concerned about it, and my clinical psych advisor telling me that it's very common for the parent that's left and the oldest child (whoever's left in the home, I presume) to become very close. Not that I needed his permission to be close to her, that has already happened...but it kinda normalized it.

 Well my fish are a bit smaller than your little fish.

Will be interesting if your prediction is right. But dogs can indeed smell it, as they can smell pheromones. With the big hormone change you exude different pheromones so the dog smells it. They can smell when you're on your period as well.

I thought my daughter was a boy. I guess because the way people said I was carrying. I never felt overwhelming one way or another. I know my daughter and I have a very different relationship than she does with my husband. It's always been that way. She's such a mama's girl. Now, will she feel the same at 11,16 and 19? That remains to be seen.

With this one, I have not gained any weight because I feel so gross. Like today is a gross day. You never know.

And the pregnancy dreams are annoying. I had a dream last night that I was in the hospital to start labor. But I was saying to everyone, "I'm not far enough along. I'm not due until JULY!"

A woman is looking a new home for her dog here, anyone interested ?

He kinda gets a bit lonely when you leave the house and starts kinda chew things

Last day cost the owner about 3600 euros as it broke the door and chew window frames :lol:
