The Jets are a big mess. I am just tired of hearing about them, though it's only gonna get worse.

I do feel a bit for Sanchez, though he was hyped so much by Ryan when he first started that he was doomed. And with each *rare* completion, or 15 yard scramble by Tebow, the fans are going to get restless for Tebowmania.

I do feel sorry for the master of the 2 yard completion Mark Sanchez. I do think that he could have been a decent NFL starter, but he's been fucked with from day one by that half wit fat ass clown Rex Ryan, who has no businesses being anything higher than a good defensive coordinator ever again.

First it was the green, yellow and red signals from the sideline... then they just didn't let him throw, then they got rid of his entire offensive lime in the name of signing overpriced past their prime veteran douchebags, many of whom were "deep threat" wide receivers... and now they bring in an even worse backup quarterback, but one who has a following bigger than the Beatles... and the O line still stinks, their one "star" receiver drops more passes than jermichael finley, and is a cockbag to boot, and their answer is to put antonio cromartie at WR, who may or may not be Sanchez's biological father.

In the preseason, and it really wasn't that severe (T.O holding onto the ball might have helped Flynn's cause a little). Derek Anderson played better than Newton the other night. Does that mean he's getting the nod, too?

But Pete's the head coach, and he knows what it takes to go 6 - 10.

The Bucs have absolutely horrendous depth. Their first string is contender quality, but if anyone gets hurt, they're fucked.

Or maybe our third string is remarkable. I know Cousins has been our MVP this preseason.

The Bucs got massively overrated by their cakewalk schedule two years ago that handed them 10 wins. I'm still not sold on Freeman.

Are we going to have another fantasy league this year? I am looking forward to defending my crown*

I made a name for another league I'm in: Sandusky Day Care

Too soon?

* actually came in 6th or 7th

Hey, Seven, your QB's a genius:

Ryan Tannehill doesn't know the NFL's divisions

"I'm so lost on the whole divisions," Ryan Tannehill told his backup, Matt Moore, on Tuesday's episode of Hard Knocks. "I know our division and that's about it."
The Miami Dolphins rookie claimed ignorance of the team in NFL's eight divisions and two conferences, then proved it when he failed Moore's impromptu quiz.

Tannehill thought the Kansas City Chiefs were in the AFC East alongside his Dolphins. He had "no clue" who was in the NFC North, then guessed the New York Giants after some prompting.
"How do you not know this?" Moore asked with a laugh, while shooting a Jim Halpert-esque smirk to the camera. "It shocks me."

Tannehill explained in a talking head interview.
"I wasn't a huge pro fan growing up [in West Texas]," he said. "I wasn't loyal to any one team, so I don't really know the divisions, even conferences. I know most of the conferences, but some of those I really have no clue and hey dont makes sense. You have the AFC East and we're freaking at the bottom of the map and the directions don't make any sense the way the teams actually are."

Nor does it need to. All Tannehill needs to know is that he's supposed to beat the other team. It doesn't matter whether that team is from the north, south, east or west or whether it plays in the NFC South or the Patrick Division. A quarterback doesn't have to know anything else.

See you guys at the Megabowl! That's what happens when the league decides on the two best teams of the many conferences. You're gonna kill the NFC East champion Kansas City Chiefs!

He really does sound like a dumbass though, with regards to general communication.

He has outplayed Matt Moore, which I suppose is all that matters for now, as far as his career is concerned. I feel sorry for the guy though, he has no one to throw to. Of course, that's a theme across all the rookies. We took one of Luck's only decent receivers, and it's not like we're set either.

When was the last time the league had five rookies starting week one? Luck, RG3, Weeden, Tannehill, Wilson. Crazy shit.

And it should be six.

As far as I can tell, starting rookies week 1 is a fairly recent trend.

Couldn't tell you if that's a good thing or a bad thing though, there have been busts since the first draft.

I love the NFL and like to extend the benefit of the doubt to them but this unequivocally renders any of their claims of giving a fuck about safety moot. Forever.

Hey, a rule change I can actually applaud. The IR doesn't necessarily end your season anymore:

1. Only players with a "major injury" who are placed on Reserve/Injured after 4:00 p.m., New York time, on Tuesday, September 4, or thereafter during the season, will be eligible to be reactivated at a later time.

2. A "major injury" is defined as an injury that renders the player unable to practice or play football for at least six weeks (42 calendar days) from the date of injury.

3. Each team may reactivate only one player placed on Reserve/Injured after 4:00 p.m., New York time, on Tuesday, September 4. That player must be "designated for return" at the time the club places him on Reserve/Injured, and such designation shall appear on that day's Personnel Notice.

4. Such player is eligible to return to practice if he has been on Reserve/Injured for at least six weeks from the date he is placed on Reserve. He is eligible to return to the Active List if he has been on Reserve/Injured for at least eight weeks from the date he is placed on Reserve.

And it should be six.

Meh... he got outplayed. It wasn't really close.

But yes... its just preseason. But its not as if Flynn has done jack shit in this league. He's had one great game in his life.

You do have a point that Pete Carroll hasn't done shit to prove he can coach in the NFL either... but it's not like Matt Flynn is a proven commodity.

Yo, Seven, the Skins are trying to pick up Steve Slaton. Know anything about him? He's had like one good year, but I don't really know what he did for you guys last year, if anything.
