I was wondering if Seanbaby from Cracked did that comic. His schtick (sp?) Is editing old comics/ads like that.

At least call a registered nurse. I was once pissing blood quite badly, and that was a harbinger of some very unpleasant things. Better to be preemptive in these cases.

Welp, I've always enjoyed getting LPs signed complete with a "To [name removed]." Gives a nice personal touch to the collection. And next weekend, I have no bands to see during signings by Cults, James Blake, Cut Copy, My Morning Jacket, and Broken Social Scene. Great news. My only problem is figuring out whether I should skip Iron & Wine, who I've already seen twice, to get my Dear Science inked. And figuring out which BSS and MMJ to bring. Leaning You Forgot it in People and It Still Moves, but the BSS self titled does have the cooler cover.

You know you make me fucking depressed right?

All verbs are capitalised.

Since when?

The album I've been talking about to no one for a while scored a 7.7 from Pitchfork! Most of you would dig it I think.

Gotye: Making Mirrors | Album Reviews | Pitchfork

It's a really good album. I think Somebody That I Used To Know is well deserving of being so ludicrously popular, even if it is odd (though satisfying) to hear Gotye on mainstream stations.

Speaking of mainstream stations (because shit, cat), how funny is it that they've only seemed to pick up on the fact that Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People exists within the past month or so? That song must be nearly two years old.

Alabama, Arkansas, I do love my ma and pa, guyz.

Another dead hero.

(My sister's getting married next month, that'll be one of the songs she and the guy will be dancing to. If for whatever reason one of you sneak into the ceremony, let it be known that they didn't learn of it from a car commercial).

I've never heard of Jessie J either.

If you read the link, she wasn't bagging on PJ Harvey though. She didn't know what the Mercury Music Prize was either.

Pretty awesome.

I've always had a problem with Jessie J. Everything about her feels so forced. I realize that's an odd thing to say about a pop singer, but at least your Ke$has and your Katy Perrys have some semblance of personality to them. Jessie J is just overwhelmingly bland. Also, her music is awful.

So the cable guys are here. Er, the satellite guys I guess. Anyways, I'm trying really hard not to laugh out loud at them, but they don't seem to quite have the slightest fucking idea what they're doing since finding out they couldn't clamp the dish to my balcony. You have to put it up on this steeple thing on the roof. So first there was the enjoyment of them not having a long enough ladder (or so they thought, it ended up being just long enough), now I can hear them clopping around up there and they can't quite seem to find the right places for everything. I'm also going on line an hour of sleep since getting off work, so this is funny to me in a slapstick sort of way and may not be to anyone else :crack:

I just wish no one had mentioned what song she sings. I knew what it was, but it was right one the tip of my tongue, and as long as it remained there, it wouldn't be stuck in my head. Now? Over and over and over and over again.
