I'm too lazy to PM everyone, because I wish there were an easier way of selecting all in my friends list or whatever, and I don't know how to do that. I'm not going to say much out here on the internets for all to see, but

this afternoon I got laid off from my job. I'm done. Gone immediately.

So pretty much life fucking sucks right now. If you want more details, I can PM you the email I sent to a bunch of family/friends. :sigh:

FUCK. That just about sums up how I feel right now.


Oh yeah, and PLEASE don't say anything on FB (or Twitter) about this. I don't want that out there just yet. Send me a PM here or a message there, but nothing on my wall please. Thanks for respecting that.

In happier news, I'm about to start drinking (and heavily) right about now! :wink:

I'm going up to be with my family for a while starting tomorrow. I just saw my mom last night/this morning, and I was just up visiting them a few weeks ago, but I just can't really be alone right now. I'm staying here tonight, then tomorrow morning a friend's going to drive me to the ferry terminal, and my parents will pick me up on the other side. I'm glad I won't have to drive. :lol:

Yes, it was non-profit. I'll keep that in mind - thank you! :) I'll need all the help I can get with that type of thing, since it's been an age and a half since I've had to do any of that.

I'm going to take at least a week (maybe 2) to just process this all, and then I'll get down to the business of figuring out my next step.

Aww, thanks! I'll probably come again in October, and we can hang then, hopefully. My Bellevue bff will be out of town when I'm there in Sept, and she really wants to hang with me, so I'm gonna try to come down in October sometime so I can hang with her and my family, and of course you, if it works. :)

That's because we are half of one whole. Our parents sent us to opposite sides of the country as to restore balance. That's why it worked for Magnetic Hill. The magnetic pull kept everyone safe. If we'd met in Montreal, chaos would ensue.
