I think Americans are def in the minority in this thread :lol:
We had plans to go to Vancouver a few years ago and then wound up spending vacation money on something lame and grown up like a dishwasher or something.

Cool... they showed me some of the vids they took at the Grand Canyon, and other points of interest in the vicinity of Las Vegas... I have got to get out out there one day. Mind-boggling stuff.

Vancouver is nice...but it rains.....a lot.

I remember once a few years ago they got something like 1 inch of snow and they freaked out. We just laughed at them...we got 16 feet two years ago. Not all at the same time mind you....

Grand Canyon is awesome - literally. On my fb, I have pics of the hike down to the bottom and back that we did last spring.

Funny you should make that dishwasher joke. I used to tell people "I have a dishwasher. We call it Bill." He didn't like that too much.

Maybe I should send you the one I started - another beach scene... Gotta wait 'til Mr.Z is out for the evening though :reject: Some things spouses just don't need to know. And if he can sneak a cig every once in awhile, I can have my vices too! *g*

I can imagine... I should go look those pics up. They were saying you should stay overnight at the bottom, rather than go down and up in one day... is that what you did?
