U2 vs Coldplay poll - vote now!

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Who gives a shit? Coldplay fans are probably at their computers, twiddling their thumbs and making nerdy noises to justify their excitement.

I'M SICK OF IT. I HATE IT. LETS KICK THEIR ASSES.

sure Coldplay sucks

but the humanitarian in me made me vote for them

I'm afraid that U2 guy will crumble like jenga tower every time he gets on stage

come on, surely U2 vs coldplay is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo like, 2002 or sumthang.......right?

END THIS SHIT!

for a start, U2 have been round since the 80s.

Chris Martin was in nappies back then.

nuff said.

Somebody on that site said it best: the U2 of the 80's and 90's wins hands down. But Coldplay beats the present-day U2 without question.

My only problem with Coldplay is their lyrics. Those are really shite (except for "Viva La Vida" -- great lyrics, there. I dunno, maybe Eno brought out the best in them?). Otherwise, good, if highly inoffensive, politically-correct band.

What's more interesting to me is: Which group would win in a fight? Coldplay have youth and speed on their side, but U2 are gritty irish blokes who can handle their guinness.

Larry would kick all their asses. :D

I do really like Coldplay. Still think NLOTH beats Viva La Vida though.

U2 would win in a fight purely because of Larry, I wouldn't call any of U2 gritty  though I agree about the Guinness part

Here's what some guy said:

LMFAO "better live shows than U2"? Has he even seen U2 live? Muse is great live, but I saw them open for U2 and when U2 went up they made Muse look like amateurs. That quote has me laughing.

I agree with that....we caught MUSE opening 360 in Dallas last year and they really didn't live up to all of the HYPE.

^ This!!!!!

I like Coldplay as well, but I voted for U2. I did not get too much out of Viva La Vida in comparison to NLOTH. However, the poll is not looking too well for U2 fans...U2 is trailing behind again!!!:|

Seriously, people:
