I am 100% sure the first single will be a rocker instead of a ballad. I just don't hope it'll be someting like Vertigo again. More something like The Fly!

Am guessing the first single will be a fast song, something suitable as a concert opener on the next tour. Since U2 are - in the best possible sense of the word - becoming rather predictable, I'm expecting something akin to Elevation and Vertigo. Also, since people on this forum are so enamoured of song titles, the first single could also end up being the title of the tour - probably not No Line On The Horizon or Moment of Surrender then!
