It's official #Sicy would be surprised...

ABEL 06-07-2003 12:59 AM

i don't cut my noodles. half the fun of eating spaghetti is twirling the noodles on your fork! :hyper:

Good girl.

Pasta is so simple. You have to do it fresh - not the pasta in itself (much work), but cooking and the sauce.

Sometimes I do fresh Lasagne.

Cutting the pasta? Eeeek. That´s weird. :eyebrow:

beegee 06-07-2003 02:47 AM

i made homemade sauce tonight. my house still smells like garlic. :D

ABEL 06-07-2003 02:49 AM

all you had to eat tonite was sauce bg?

beegee 06-07-2003 02:54 AM

abel, my homemade sauce is so good, it's all you need.
i'm half italian, you know.

but no, i had it with penne.

ABEL 06-07-2003 02:57 AM

I wish I had some of your sauce to go with my spaghetti....I had sauce from a jar :|

KhanadaRhodes 06-07-2003 03:44 AM

making sauce isn't that hard, just combine all the ingredients in a big pan and let it simmer for a while. the hard part is finding a good recipe. i love my mom's recipe.

now all i need to do is try out my meatballs recipe and i'll make a lovely spaghetti with meatballs. and then i'll try lasagna.

Yay! :applaud:

My sauce is pretty simple actually, but tastes really good.

One can tomato sauce
A couple cloves of fresh garlic chopped up
Some parsley
A bit of onions
Browned ground beef (if you want)
Dash of salt and pepper

Simmer covered on low heat for about an hour.

I never measure anything.. real italian cooks just guesstimate

Mmmm...when I'm at college I practically live on pasta. It's so cheap and easy to cook, and I'm poor and busy so it's pretty much the perfect meal.

jkayet 06-07-2003 04:40 AM

i live on pasta now...and cereal. Hmmm, the sauce ideas are good to know...I try to make my own, but only sometimes succeed...

Basstrap 06-07-2003 02:04 PM
