Having listen to his music, reading about him, and seeing him perform live for 20 years I DO NOT think he likes cliquish ppl

Well, I'm going to sound like a broken record because I say this so often, but I feel that "clique" has such a negative connotation. Therefore, I'd have to go with "No".

diamond 08-10-2002 12:01 PM

Oh, and this thread was no meant to intimidate or poke fun at the cliquish ppl who think we are beneath them, ok?;)
Also can we plez not have any tampering w the voting procedure in this poll, lest we appear cliquish?;)
thank u

We need to define that word.

Bonochick 08-10-2002 12:14 PM

Personally, I define a clique as a snobby group of people who do not accept others outside of their group.

diamond 08-10-2002 12:20 PM

What B/C said.:)

MonaVox 08-10-2002 12:22 PM

Well if you put it THAT way.....then nono.

I never worry about connotations, so I would have to say "yes, Bono does like cliques"
he's even part of at least one I know of: U2

Cute answer Salome.
Nice attempt:)
Ive always heard Bono state he thinks is absurd that there is a police escort for 4 fellows riding around in limos.
Perhaps you see Bono's clique more significant than Bono;)
I dunno:confused:
Care to clarify?
:)

Well if you have blind allegiance to Bono regradless of his character, now that would be your preogative now wouldnt it?
For others I do think that would take issue and Bono would lose some fans.
Your next ques?:)

I like the music bono and u2 make

I wouldn't really define 'clique' as being a bunch of snobby guys - or whatever BC said, can't remember - since it has a total different meaning here where I live. mabye it does mean this in the USA but here in Germany that word means a couple of people being friends with eachother and helping out everybody. It's sort of a friendship amongst many people.

I personally dislike cliques, but I think Bono likes them (at least reffered to my definition). :)
