What wouldn't you change?
Okay, there is a thread on here about what we would change about ourselves, but I think that we all need to be more positive, especially during the long winter!! What things about yourself would you keep the same??

-I stand up for what I belive
-I am very persistant
-I am usually energetic
-I can make people laugh
-I am not afraid to make a fool of myself
-I am easily able to talk to the other sex

My personality- I'm a very nice person
My ability to sing- I've been told it brings a lot of joy to others.
My stright, white smile.
My big, green eyes. They're my favorite thing about me.

sulawesigirl4 01-16-2002 02:17 PM

-my outgoing ability to be able to strike up a conversation with anyone (makes those long airplane flights go much faster! http://forum.interference.com/u2feedback/biggrin.gif)
-my reading speed (a page a minute means I can get through a lot in a little time)
-my stubbornness (although my parents didn't always appreciate it http://forum.interference.com/u2feedback/tongue.gif)
-my willingness to try new things, new foods, new countries, and new languages
-my naturally curly hair (Wash and go, baby!)
-my exceptional taste in rock music http://forum.interference.com/u2feedback/biggrin.gif http://forum.interference.com/u2feedback/tongue.gif

My bellybutton. It isn't a deep black hole like most others, but a shallow crater and I believe it looks more friendly that way.

Ditto for me.

-My intelligence.
-The fact that I never, or almost never, hurt anyone deliberately.
-My relative modesty (though I probably just contradicted that with the intelligence thing... http://forum.interference.com/u2feedback/rolleyes.gif )
-The fact that I can eat anything I want and never put on weight. Yes, sometimes I feel that I'm too skinny, but overall it's a good thing.
-My great taste in books and music.
-My writing ability.
-The fact that there has only been one friendship/relationship/whatever you want to call it in my life that I felt I genuinely screwed up--and I recently mended that bridge.

Dust from a distant sun
Will shower over everyone

Good question! I think it's important to remind ourselves of our attributes. It bolsters higher self-esteem.

My intelligence - this sounds egotistical - I'm just glad that I'm bright.
My career - my boyfriend and I started a software company 2 years ago, we do very well, and I am very thankful that I don't answer to anybody other than myself.
My love of reading
I can write poetry
My love of music
My love for my cats
My confidence - I'm very assertive
I'm a loyal friend
I'm a free spirit
I'm fairly innocent still (does not mean that I am naive, however)
I've overcome alot of personal & family trauma, and I believe I came out alright!
I have been in a relationship for 3 years, and still going strong! http://forum.interference.com/u2feedback/biggrin.gif
I believe that I am kind-hearted.
I live passionately. I do everything passionately. I am very "all or nothing."
I'm a Type A personality
I'm funny and in turn, have a good sense of humour
I'm athletic
I'm strong-willed
I'm well-rounded
and, last but not least, and this is hard for some people to say about themselves, but I actually wouldn't change the way I look. Not a thing. I like myself

  • I stand up for myself and really don't take people's crap.
  • I'm very dependable. When ever you need me I'm there.

  • My eyes (I've gotten a lot of nice compliments on them)
  • My hair - I've gotten a lot of nice compliments on my hair too. I just have nice healthy hair and too much! http://forum.interference.com/u2feedback/biggrin.gif

-One eye is hazel, the other brown, which is kind of neat.
-I have perfect, cavityless straight teeth.
-I have been spontaneously told I'm attractive by people who aren't obliged to do so (such as one's mother, husband etc.) so that must count for something!

-I am absolutely the most passionate, enthusiastic person you could meet.
-tolerant, open minded
-I persuade ppl to give $ to charity and I am very philanthropic myself
-I'm good at creative writing
-I am a dedicated, loving friend
-I have NERVES OF STEEL, brass balls, gumption, derring-do...whatever you want to call it.
-I am a survivor (and not of a game show!)

My kindness. I'd hate if I became a hardass.

My musical skills. Playing piano is one of my biggest passions and to know it's made people happy is a nice bonus.

I'm a very loyal friend.

I'm very open with my heart. Sometimes I feel this might be a fault, but I'd hate if I got to the point where I was reluctant to open up to love. I guess I try to aspire to the "Love like you've never been hurt..." line. http://forum.interference.com/u2feedback/smile.gif

Oh, and I like my eyes and my hands.

LarryMullen's POPAngel 01-17-2002 03:37 AM

My writing.
My eyes and my smile.
My love of music.
I'm kind (at least to people who are kind to me).
I wear my heart on my sleeve.
I'm silly.
