I Need Fake Fraternity And Sorority Names

I'm considering writing a script...that may become a screenplay...that may become a musical...it depends on if the ambition and inspiration stays with me.

However, there will be fraternities and sororities in it, and I'd rather use fake names for them (instead of portraying actual fraternities and sororities). Therefore, I need fake names...but I want them to sound realistic.

Anybody have suggestions for names that don't already exist but sound authentic?

How about Kappa Alpha Fuckhead?!! http://forum.interference.com/u2feedback/smile.gif

No, seriously, I was in a play once and we used
Kappa Alpha Delta. I have no idea if it's a real name, tho! http://forum.interference.com/u2feedback/smile.gif

There's the old standby: Phi Tappa Kegga...there's the one Richie Cunningham said he belonged to in an episode of Happy Days: Mumma Poppa Sista.

Where I went to college, there was a Thai student named Chevaporn Pornprompravalikit (name slightly modified). The frats all tried to rush him.

Actually, my idea will have some of your stereotypical ideas about frats and sororities, but I plan on breaking stereotypes with some main characters.

When I was at university, I went to lots of frat parties and hung out with frat guys a lot, and I had a great time with all of them and was never taken advantage of. They treated me great. I also met a lot of nice sorority girls. They all get such a bad rap, especially in movies.

I like what you are doing and what you have to say about us (fraternity people). I was in one and enjoyed it a lot. I am glad you enjoyed hanging out with them.

I felt like an outcast when I first started university. I had no friends. But a guy in a fraternity befriended me at a party and introduced me to his brothers. He watched out for me all night. Then, my roommate ended up stealing my key, and I got locked out of my hall...so it was my first night there, and I had nowhere to stay. That guy let me stay at his place. He made me up a bed on the couch and made sure I was all right before he went to his room. I was so drunk that night, and he didn't try a damn thing. He looked out for me all semester...he was a great friend.
